ProDrive US Inverter Support - Required Update
The following update is REQUIRED to add the support for US model families of Hitachi Inverter to your ProDrive Version 1.8.8.1 installation. Follow the steps below to install this update:
I've got two Hitachi HDS72101 1TB external drives that my new Dell XPS 8900 running Windows 10 won't recognize. The device manager shows the drives to be working properly and having current drivers. My computer recognizes my new Seagate 5TB drive and my old Lacie drives (older than the Hitachis). So I wrote to Hitachi and they told me that they have handed driver for Windows 8 to Microsoft. But Microsoft has not yet implemented those. Even in Windows 8.1 no chance. So my Question is: Will Windows 10 read my Hard Drive like Windows 7 or like Windows 8.
- Install ProDrive 1.8.8.1 from the link given in the previous section.
- Download and install the ProDrive Software Version 1.8.8.1 UPDATE from the link below. The link will download a zip file.
- Unzip the files to your main ProDrive program folder, which also contains the prodrive.exe file.
Note: When you start ProDrive, be sure to select the support for US inverters in the ProDrive Setting window.
